More Activities

More spring fun has been going on here. Having fun exploring the trains and animals with cousin Annie at the park.
Of course enjoying true California living by sitting in the warm sun eating ice cream cones,
 dogs hoping some drops,
relaxing in the hammock with Uncle Dylan,
and of course giving us a pose.
What did I tell you, another pose.

Spring Fun!

Spring has come and we've been having fun! It starts with going on walks and feeding the fish and the ducks.

Staying healthy with our "green shakes"
 Staying cool with our sunglasses.
Saying bye to daddy while he leaves on a train to San Diego.
Just about everyday leads to the park.

Having a sleepover at grandma and grandpa's and then waking up to a view of toilet paper.
and eating our frozen yougurt, mmmm so good.

Kurtis and Ashley's Wedding

Back in February we attended Kyle's brother Kurtis and Fiance Ashley's wedding in Augusta, GA. It was so pretty and so nice. We had a great time visiting with everyone and celebrating in the joyous occasion.

 The whole Koester family.
Handsome daddy and the girls looking gorgeous in their dresses, thanks to Grandma K.

Ellouise 1st Birthday!

I can't believe a whole year has already gone by and our little Ellouise is just growing up too fast. She is just the sweetest little thing and always so happy. She has brought so much love and joy to our family. We were glad we got to celebrate this special day with her.

The morning started off with us waking Ellouise up by singing her Happy Birthday! She loved it and Evelyn was also so excited to celebrate with her. Evelyn always wants to share in every moment with Ellouise and be right by her side. Ellouise had fun opening up some presents and try and figure out what all the excitement and cameras were about. But in the meantime it was time to get ready for a PARTY!
Though it's a lot of work and a bit tiring I love planning and setting up for my girls birthday parties. For Ellouise since she really is our little sweetheart we decided on a "sweetheart" themed party. Thanks Aunt Brittany for the perfect invitation.  There were lots of sweets to eat and lots of heart shapes around the house. We of course had to do pink frosting with yummy strawberry cake, it was delicious.

Ellouise had lots of cousins, friends and family come to celebrate with her on her special day. She is so loved and such a sweet friend to everyone.

Then it was cake time!

At first she wasn't quite sure what to do with her little piece of cake, but after looking at it for a minute, trying to eat it without touching it, she finally picked it up, took a bite and then realized, "hey this is really good" and went for it.

Ellouise was so spoiled and got so many wonderful and generous gifts. She was truly enjoying herself while opening them and looking to see what was inside. We got her a little bouncy zebra, which once she got on it, she loves it!
Evelyn had a great time as well at the party and was such a good helper. She is such a great big sister and loves to help take care of Ellouise. I love how they get along and can make each other laugh and are growing such a fun sister relationship.
We love you so much Ellouise and hope you have another wonderful year. Your sweetness and happiness is more than we could have asked for and as your parents we feel so blessed to have you as a part of our family. Hope you had a great 1st Birthday!
